The proper welcome to Barcelona

So I arived back in Barcelona to start my three month stay in this beautiful city..
I had the pleasure of traveling from Munich with another friend on the same flight (very random). We were greated at the gate by some friends and Again I am filled with warmth as my friend Paca has the most welcoming smile..
I high with the weekend of great dancing and hte best photo sales I have had to date.. With 350€ in my pocket and the excitement of actuly staying in one place for more then three months. I was taken advantage of...
I have been told many times to be awair of the pick pockets in Barcelona they are very good.. But being that I'm told time and time again that I'm imtimadating in stature I have developed a false security over the years.. No one has ever stolen something off my body every and I have felt the atempts before so I know they have tried once or twice.. But to have my wallet taken from my stregicly sewed on pocket (placed in a random spot and made tight to keep things in place) While riding on the metro.. I was destoryed when I found out everything I had made over the weekend was taken. On top of that my credcards Drivers licens Socility Card Bank acount numbers (yes two of them) and countless other idoms of note..
Here I am now having lost everything. I can't call anyone as my spanish number was in the wallet as well. I can't buy food. All the things I was thinking of doing with the cash have been lost.. Yeah the Pick Pocket culture is alive and kicking. I was talking to a friend a week after about the incendent and he was apoled because as he told me they would not bother trying to pick his pocket mainly because he is a resedent, and that they mostly target the tourists. Maybe we are an easy target as I stood in the metro with my two packs and people bumping me to the point I couldn't feel the action.
But at this point what is there to do but pick your self up and start over again..
I have recovered with the help of my friends here and have been promissed by my approching parents that they will be generous and replace the cash. So again I am very great full to so many of my friends and family.
Lesson learned here?
Don't keep all your suplies in one place. Its too easy to find...
